Lemon~Lime Cookies – Family recipes and a few of my own

I had a craving for Lemon Cookies this afternoon… thought I would share the recipe with you since I am house bound ……

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened

1¾ cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla Juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime, plus zest of both 1 tsp. baking soda ½ tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt

3 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix. Add lemon and lime juice, zest, salt, soda, and baking powder and mix. Add flour, one cup at a time and mix until combined. Dough should be thick and it should crumble a bit…

Using a cookie scoop drop small amounts onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
